BIOGRAPHY

Erik Jeor is a Swedish painter, composer and educator based in Stockholm. Through painting and music, his work explores attention, listening and memory, seeking points of contact between contemporary experience and older cultural traditions.

Working primarily in watercolor, his practice explores themes of attention, listening and memory, often seeking points of contact between contemporary experience and older cultural traditions.

His works are represented in the collections of Moderna Museet, Malmö Konstmuseum and numerous public collections throughout Sweden.

Recent projects include the solo exhibition A Thirst that from the Soul doth Rise at Saskia Neuman Gallery (2025), the public commission Viola Tricolor for Stockholm Konst (2024–2026), and From Forest Glade to Blossom, a major commission for Södersjukhuset, Region Stockholm (2025–2028).
